Taj Mahal, Agra, Uttar Pradesh:

The awesome structure. the monument of love that Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan gave to the world. stands as a testimony of his intense love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is located on the right bank of the Yamuna River. in a vast Mughal garden that encompasses nearly 17 hectares, in the Agra District in Uttar Pradesh.
The most famous historical places are Qutub Minar, Delhi:
The Qutub Minar is a towering 73-meter high tower. built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak in 1193. The tower was built to celebrate Muslim dominance in Delhi. after the defeat of Delhi’s last Hindu ruler. This tower is the highest tower in India. The whole tower contains a spiral staircase of 379 steps. At the foot of the tower is the Quwat Ul Islam Mosque.
Red Fort, Delhi:
Red fort is one of the famed monuments of India. their gigantic size, aesthetic proportions, and style. all represent an age of unrestrained opulence. It was also built by Shah Jahan and took over 10 years to complete. This fort used to be white as it was originally made with limestone. but it started peeling off under British rule and hence they painted it red.
The most famous historical places are Hawa Mahal, Jaipur:
Hawa Mahal, is very attractive and beautifull place in jaipur. Your tour is unfinished unless you visit the Hawa Mahal in Jaipur. Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of Winds. was more of a gallery than a monument. It was designed by Lal Chand Ustad as a gallery. from where ladies of the royal household. they could watch the everyday life in the street. since at other times, they had to observe the purdah.
Built in red and pink sandstone. During that time Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, was a big devotee of Lord Krishna. Hawa Mahal is the tallest building in the world without a proper foundation. It consists of 5 stories, but, without a proper foundation, leans at an angle of 87 degrees.
The most beautyful historical places are Mysore Palace, Mysore, Karnataka:
This palace is so adorable and beauty. The interiors of the palace are intricately designed. and adorned with ornate ceilings. There are jeweled corridors, stained glass windows, open mandaps. and also a jeweled throne. The best time to visit this palace is during the Dussehra festival.
Victoria Memorial, Kolkata:
The Victoria Memorial is assuredly, one of the best examples of British architecture in West Bengal . The idea for the monument goes to Lord Curzon, the then Viceroy. While its actual designing and implantation was by Sir William Emerson. Inside the premises of Victoria Memorial stands a beautiful garden along with a museum containing British memorabilia like sculptures, paintings, weapons and artifacts, besides others.
